In 2021, the Global π Community was established during the 3rd World Youth Scientist Summit organized by the World Federation for Young Scientists. It gathers young frontline scientists with solid social responsibility and profound research backgrounds. It attracts outstanding young experts from various fields, such as entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and artists. The goal is to promote multi-level, cross-disciplinary international exchanges and collaborations in science, technology, and humanities with a spirit of interdisciplinary integration.

- Participate in the World Young Scientist Summit as a "Global Young Scientist Leader" to exchange and display research results and activities.
- Meet top scientists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and high-level World Young Scientist Summit participants.
- The π community regularly accepts applications from members for short-term study tours and cooperative research, office, and residence and makes all efforts to provide physical space support for members.
- Innovative projects and ideas can be connected to the “World Young Scientists Entrepreneurship Fund,” they will be given priority funding considerations to showcase their innovative projects and ideas to serve the world and society better.
- You can further discuss with the World Young Scientist Summit Secretariat and the global π community and submit suggestions and opinions anytime. We will try our best to support community members' academic and innovative project plans.
- Basic conditions: Applicants must be born after January 1st, 1977 (inclusive), and have the physical fitness to continue working or serving;
- Professional knowledge: Possess professional knowledge in any scientific field,and have excellent research results, and are interested in interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary cooperation (such as science and technology, humanities, venture capital, etc.);
- Outstanding achievements: Candidates should have a leadership role in global science, technology, innovation, venture capital and enterprise, with 5-15 years of outstanding professional work experience, a consistent record of basic scientific achievements, and a proven track record in their careers. Continuing to play an important leadership role in the research field and other areas, with pioneering contributions and achievements;
- Social service: Candidates need to practice the concept of "technology serves global society and sustainable development", and need to prove that they are serving the society through outstanding contributions and profound ethical concepts, and have achieved remarkable results. The results of work are translated into social impact and communicated;
- Good character and ethics: The candidate needs to have flawless personal credit; the candidate should also have a good reputation in the community; at the same time, the candidate has demonstrated a good self-awareness and desire to learn, willing to Broader sharing of what has been learned in the program;
- Nomination: Candidates need to be nominated by excellent nominees, including members of previous "Young Global Technology Leaders", heads, professors, CEOs or directors of international organizations, universities, research institutions, cooperative enterprises and other institutions long wait as security for the candidate;
- All units can nominate only one candidate per year. All applicants must provide the name of at least one recommender, who we can contact to learn more about the candidate's situation. The recommender should state that they are willing to support the development of the π community and to serve the sustainable development of mankind;
