The World Young Scientist π Community was unveiled and landed in Wenzhou

The Global Roundtable for Young Scientist Scholar 2021 was successfully held in Wenzhou on November 13. On the same day, the World Young Scientist π Community was unveiled and launched officially, established, located in the Qidu International Future Science and Technology Island, Lucheng, Wenzhou, was unveiled.

Based on the Lucheng Eye Plan of Lucheng District, Wenzhou, the π community is located on the Qidu Island, the site of the first summit in 2019, aiming at building a world academic center for young scientists. It was finally unveiled after two years of preparation.

Mr. Kai Zheng, the Director of the CAST Center for Professional Training and Services, Mr. Shengjie Yang, the member of Standing Committee of CPC of Wenzhou Committee and the Head of the Organization Department, Dr. Changhee Lee, ILO Country Office Director for China and Mongolia and other Chinese and foreign guests attended the Roundtable 2021, and unveiled the π community.

The π community is an international community composed of global outstanding representatives from science, technology, enterprises, venture capital, art, and other fields, and an organic component of the World Associations for Young Scientists. It aims to promote the young generation to better serve society through cross-disciplinary dialogue, cooperation and collaborative work among young scientists, entrepreneurs, venture capital and artists Serve the implementation of the United Nations sustainable development goals.

Dr. Meng Wang, Executive Secretary of the WYSS, said that the community is named after π, which endows it with the spirit of "infinite possibility, infinite power and infinite hope". The π Community cares about the earth, human beings, and the future, and pays attention to the scientific and technological development that is closely related to the fate of mankind: life health, biosafety, climate change, clean energy, and future technology.

The π community will gradually set up sub communities in the regions where innovation resources gather in Zhejiang Province and overseas, and support members to carry out international scientific, technological and people to people exchanges and youth innovation cooperation, so as to make π community the best growth platform for members. At the same time, it will cooperate with international and domestic experts to carry out cross-border exchanges, academic discussions, innovative research, incubation, industry introduction and other activities or projects, accelerate the gathering of global high-end elements, and actively promote dialogue, action and change. π Community strives to establish cooperation with 20 international science and technology organizations, famous universities and institutes at home and abroad or overseas science and technology associations within three years, create 3-5 international youth innovation brand activities, gather a group of global leading young talents and R&D teams, obtain a group of scientific research achievements with international influence, and incubate a group of innovative enterprises with world competitiveness.
