Establishment of Qingke Natural History Museum

Geoscience, a university discipline, including the important topics of human research on the earth and biological evaluation for hundreds of millions of years, is the basis for achieving sustainable economic and social development. The Natural Museum concentrates on the mysteries of earth science and presents the pursuit of human society for beauty and the future.

Located on the 3rd floor of Qidu Young Scientist π Community, Qingke Natural History Museummainly displays the fossils of "Jehol Biota" in western Liaoning, including "dinosaur fossil model and Jehol Biota fossil display", "Paleontological animal evolution", "plant and insect fossil", and "youth fossil research and experiment base".

Qingke Natural History Museumis a "window" for the exhibition and exchange of geosciences in Lucheng District, a collection and research center for rare geological and minerals, a base for the popularization of earth science and scientific and cultural quality education for young people, and an ideal place for scientific research, science popularization, viewing, leisure, entertainment and stone appreciation. It will become an important support of scientific and cultural innovation in Lucheng, fill the gap in science popularization and innovation bases, and will also become one of the popular attractions with tourism, innovation, science popularization and other functions in Lucheng. The museum consists of four parts: dinosaur fossil model display, popularization of the evolutionary science of Jehol biota in western Liaoning, teenagers’ science popularization education base and fossil research center.
